Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My amazing friend Lara Marsh and her family were supported by Tyndale Hospice at Home and they gave her amazing care and comfort when she was approaching the end of her life because of Motor Neurone Disease.
Lara was a funny, inspiring and brilliant woman and I intended to do a sponsored something for Tyndale Hospice every year, but haven't kept up, so this year, with a pandemic belly having appeared, I've decided to do it again during August, ending on 31 August which is the anniversary of her passing in 2012.
After lockdown I'm really not fit and walking 100 miles in a month seems like a really big deal seeing as I've been walking about 0.5 a mile a day at times from my my bedroom to the office, to the kitchen and back again! So I'll need walking partners to help drag me along please! And lots of encouragement! On ocassion I might mix it up with cycling and swimming too.
If you knew Lara, you'll know how much Tyndale Hospice at Home deserve our support because they were amazing. If you didn't - this would be a lovely cause to support so that others can have similar care.
