Agreeing to dance in this years 'St Rocco's Strictly' seemed like a good idea at the time.  It will be fine I thought - they won't give the jive or the samba to an old bird like me.  Wrong!!  I got the samba!  For those people that know me, they will know I avoid the dance floor at all costs, so to dance in a competition in front of an audience is so not my thing!!

But to try to do something to help a fantastic place like St Rocco's Hospice has been important to me since they made the time my Mum spent there so special for both her and my family with their exceptional level of care & understanding.  And as a massive Strictly fan my Mum would have loved this.

So dancing shoes purchased and lessons booked - I will keep you updated!
