Dr Sudhir Saigal’s late granddaughter Archi was repatriated home to London by air at less than one week of age, after being born premature and needing neonatal intensive care. 

Lucy Air Ambulance for Children is the only charity in the UK that flies children to hospital by aeroplane.

They ensure children are able to access the specialist care and treatment they need, wherever they are in the UK

The NHS does not have any budget for air ambulance transfers and relies on Lucy AAC to provide this essential service at no cost.
