Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our page.

Over 12 weeks we'll be swimming 22 miles across the English Channel ( in our local pool) to raise money for people who have been affected by Spinal Cord Injury.

The event will run from 14th September to 7th December, between us we will attempt to swim around 1073 lengths of our local pool.

Due to recent accident our Grandad is recovering from a spinal cord injury. Swimming was one of his passions;  his courage and determination has been a motivation to challenge ourselves and help others.

Every pound that we raise means that Aspire can provide practical help to a spinal injured person, allowing them to live a more independent life, so please donate as much as you can and help make a difference.
