Story
On September 10th 2021 Forres Rotary will be celebrating 70 years since it was chartered. To celebrate we are hoping to do a series of 70 Challenges. I'm making jam and marmalade - 70 jars.
I'm off and running - 10 jars of marmalade made in May (see picture gallery).
15 jars of Rhubarb & Ginger added to the jam store. Thanks to Fraser for the jars and Tony for the Rhubarb!!!
The sun shone and the soft fruit ripened. Another 24 jars made - 22 raspberry and 2 strawberry, I feel another trip to Wester Hardmuir coming on...
More strawberry this week - total now stands at 55. 70 feels like it is in reach...
17/08/21 - Done it, 6 Blackcurrant, 8 Gooseberry and now 3 jars of Courgette, Lemon and Ginger makes 70+
