14.5 million people in the UK are in poverty, including 4.2 million children. 

The fit and fed programme is a lifeline for low income families, with activities taking place across England and Wales. But in a post covid world there are still thousands of young people experiencing holiday hunger and who are physically inactive and isolated. 

This weekend the North East StreetGames Team will take part in various physical challenges to raise money to continue to deliver the fit and fed programme, enabling StreetGames to increase the number of families supported.
