Story
This October, 15 runners from the Stonehage Fleming London office will be participating in the Royal Parks half marathon. The team will be running in proud support of Centrepoint and are pleased to be joining Debra Reuben and 50 Centrepoint runners and walkers, who are all taking part to make a difference to the lives of homeless young people.
The money raised by the Royal Parks half marathon team will fund five vital staff members at Centrepoint's largest hostel in Camberwell, which is home to 80 vulnerable young people.
The hostel in Camberwell has faced a 25% reduction in local authority funding over the past two years and all of the funds raised through this page will ensure that the needs of the young people living in this hostel continue to be met.
Centrepoint work in a holistic manner, working with 9,200 young people each year. They provide homeless young people with a place to call home, support their physical and mental health needs and provide education and training opportunities to help them reach their full potential.
We would be hugely grateful for your support.
Race day
The race will take place on Sunday 8th October. The stunning 13.1 mile route covers some of the capitals world-famous landmarks on closed roads and four of London’s eight Royal Parks; Hyde Park, Green Park, St. James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
If you are free on the day and would like to support the runners, it would be great to have you cheer them on to the finish line.
