Story

Stocklake Park School is a secondary school which caters for students between ages 11 and 19, who have severe and complex learning difficulties. Many of our students have communication, language and interaction difficulties. Within our school we use a total communication approach to enable the students to effectively communicate their needs and wants to their friends, staff and  other professionals.

We are raising money to purchase outdoor AAC [communication] boards for our playground and outdoor learning areas. This will enable our students to communicate effectively throughout all outdoor learning and leisure activities.

In school we are already planning and taking part in a range of a fundraising activities. These include: students and staff travelling a mile in fancy dress,  a covid safe tuck shop and a sponsored sports event.

Please help us to reach our target of £1500.00 to enable us to purchase three outdoor communication boards.

Thank you.
