Story
Hi
This will be the 7th Walk in memory of John (My Dad) since he tragically passed away in 2013. Since then we have raised £25,000 for great charities, walked well over 100 miles. Throughout the years the walks have become hugely popular with walkers last year growing to over 40.
This year I am walking a series of walks (due to COVID19) where a small group of walkers will join me on each walk (socially distancing of course). The target is to climb 8,900m through out these walks which will be a greater climb than the greatest of them all, Everest standing at 8,848m.
Walk 1 - Long Mynd (1350m), Walk 2 - Summiting Snowdon twice as well as climbing Moel Eilio (2600m), Walk 3 - Pen Y Fan (1000m), Walk 4 Wrekin 2 Loops (800m), Walk 5 - Cadair Idris (800m), Walk 6 Kinder Scout (1000m), Walk 7 Long Mynd (1350m)
Walks will take place between 6 September and 7 October.
This year and the previous years walks are in memory of my Dad, John. My Dad was tragically taken from our family and his friends on 20 September 2013, instead of mourning him on this day I have decided to dedicate this day each year to walking in his memory raising money for worthwhile causes.
Our charity this year is the County Air Ambulance Help Appeal, this year more than ever charities need our support and I would be forever grateful for any contributions that you would be able to make to our challenge and charity.
