Falkirk Wheel Abseil
Campaign by Wellbeing Scotland (RCN SC024065)
Abseil off the Falkirk Wheel to raise funds for survivors of childhood abuse and trauma.

Story

1 in 4 children will experience childhood sexual abuse by the age of 18 and yet this is still an issue that people are uncomfortable acknowledging and talking about.

I am a Director of the charity and a volunteer counsellor and I know the impact this trauma has on people and their urgent need for help.

I am scared of heights, and have never abseiled off a free standing structure like the Wheel. The more donations, the easier it will be for me to jump off this massive steel construction.

If you can make a donation, thank you.
