Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 22nd October I am going to be running the Manchester Tough Mudder to raise money for the Primary Trauma Care Foundation. Much as I love running, this is definitely not in my comfort zone!
This is a 10 kilometre course which includes 20 of Tough Mudder's famous obstacles, such as Arctic Enema, Everest, Mudderhorn and Electroshock Therapy.
I can't say I'm going to enjoy this, but your donations will be going to an excellent cause, so make my discomfort worthwhile.
I am raising money for a great charity and 100% of your
donation will go straight to Primary Trauma Care Foundation (PTCF) it is an Oxford-based charity with extensive global reach. The charity has trained for free over 100,000 medical staff in 84 countries, including in war zones. They run 160 Primary Trauma Care courses each year, supporting local doctors and nurses in their own countries to train their first-responder health workers in basic life and limb-saving trauma care for injured people of all ages. The money that you donate will have an immediate impact on the thousands of people around the world who urgently need trauma care. The PTCF has a highly efficient team, operating without buildings and with the vast majority of their work being carried out by unpaid volunteers.
