Story

We are taking on the London Marathon 2021 to raise money for SportsAid. Our son’s close friend who was just 22 years old at the time, was paralysed from the waist down in a car accident two years ago. Whilst in hospital he discovered wheelchair rugby and it has become his passion. We have personally seen how this has helped him overcome what could have been a tragedy and turn it into something incredibly positive and inspirational. Specially adapted wheelchairs for all types of sports can cost thousands of pounds. SportsAid is committed to help disabled athletes compete at all levels right up to The Paralympics. We run so they can play. And on a personal level because we believe age is just a number and you'd be amazed what you can do is you just have a big enough reason why. Any donation you can make would be hugely appreciated. Many thanks.
