Our family would like to thank all at the Thames Hospice for the amazing care given to John in the weeks leading up to his death on the 1st June 2021. 

The team, and particularly those on the Kingfisher ward, made John's final few weeks not only comfortable but filled with love, laughter and joy. 

Its was humbling to learn that the staff feel privileged to work at the hospice and the support they provided to residents and their families is beyond remarkable. 

It was a further surprise to learn the hospice is only partly funded by the state and that it has to raise over £6m a year itself to continue to provide this critically important level of care.

Therefore, we would we welcome donations to the hospice in memory of John and to help the fantastic team and facility remain available to everyone that may need them.
