Stacey's best friend's mum, who is also Martin's mother in-law has recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and has just started a course of chemotherapy to fight this awful disease. 

There is a likelihood that she will suffer a loss of hair due to the chemotherapy. So she doesn't feel alone, Stacey and Martin have decided she won't be alone and will shave their heads too!

As Martin is already involved in supporting the York Against Cancer charity with the York "Rocks" Against Cancer promotional gigs leading up to the main event at York Barbican on 8th January, they thought it wouldn't just be great to support by shaving their heads but to also raise money for York Against Cancer in doing so!

Should this target of £500 be reached, the head shaving will take place on Friday 12th November at the York Rocks promo gig at Copmanthorpe Recreation Centre.
