Story
St Ives Rangers FC Girls U12 to U16s teams are working together to race across Europe between football stadiums. The teams are competing in legs from ground to ground adding up kms by walking, running, cycling or working out. The more kms they add each day the closer to the next football ground they get.
The teams are being fantastically supported by enthusiastic family members, who will be out and about in their family bubbles doing all these activities together in the coming weeks. As we are unable to play football or train at the moment we thought this would be a great way for all of us to stay fit both physically and mentally whilst remaining within current guidelines and what better way to raise money for a fantastic charity at the same time.
HCCN deliver a home based nursing service, their aim is to help people who are recovering from or living with cancer in the Hunts area to take back their lives and to play an active part in managing their health. The team is based at the Woodlands Cancer unit at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. They see patients at home, at work, in the hospital or even somewhere neutral for a cup of coffee if necessary!
