Story
Angela Kay, Donna Hope, Stephen Gunby, Pavel Charzewski, Siobhan Grant, Jan Coyne and I are completing Dry January and Dave Potts has given up bread and potatoes for January to raise money for Keswick Mountain Rescue, as these guys are often overlooked as a charity and such a vital tool to the community.
They’re a group of volunteers who go out of their way to save lives on the fells, help people reach safety and they have also helped enormously with flooding among other things in the Lake District.
We’re here to help them deliver the best possible care to their casualties. Our support means they can continue to develop the highest standards of training, enabling them to cope not just within the mountain environment but through floods and swift wate.
And it means they can continue to develop and provide the key items of equipment they need to continue saving lives.
