Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This year South Shields Marine School's Nautical Department will be getting their trophy back!

Join us for a day of fierce competition, rivalry and excitement as ten teams from across the country battle it out to pull their boats first over the line!

The teams will race eight nautical miles from Newcastle Quay to the Marine Offshore Safety Training Centre in South Shields.

The race is followed by an after party at the Training Centre in South Shields where there will be medal presentations, live music, a BBQ and a raffle.

Money raised will go to Seafarers UK which supports the welfare of seafarers, ex-seafarers and their dependants.
