Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My name’s Sophie, I’m 14 years old, and I’m doing my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award and as part of that I’ve been volunteering with The Rock Trust, a charity based in Edinburgh working with young people between the ages of 16 and 25 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and have nowhere else to turn. As well as a stable place to stay, the Rock Trust offers advice, education and support to some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in our society.

I’d like to raise some money for the Rock Trust because I want to help them end youth homelessness as I think everyone should have a home where they feel safe. Covid-19 and the lock-down really made me appreciate my home and it meant the Rock Trust couldn’t do all their usual fundraising events so they need our help even more now. If you’d like to help out please take a look at my poster and give a young person a chance to build a better life for themselves.
