We support people with complex disabilities to communicate and experience the world

Story

In loving memory of Dr Nayneeta Subodh Deshmukh (Neeta), staff at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham histology department will be climbing Snowdon on Saturday 14th May 2022. Neeta was a hard working, sincere, ambitious and dedicated Consultant histopathologist working at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, where she specialised in urological pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, and abdominal soft tissue sarcoma pathology. Neeta passed away from metastastic lung cancer on 4th November 2020. Neeta was a loving wife to husband Subodh, the best mum to daughter Neelam, and a true friend to us all. Neeta was a charitable woman and played an active role in raising money for charities around her community. One of the charities Neeta was passionate about was the charity Sense, so we will be climbing Snowdon to raise money for Sense in memory of Neeta. Sense helps support those with complex disabilities including those who are deafblind, enabling them to communicate and experience the world.
