Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 15th April a group of 20 Smarter Fitness coaches and members will take on a charity Workout-a-thon challenge in support of three North East based Charities.

The Event will consist of 7 fitness milestones (with a north-east twist) that the group will collectively need to complete in order to end the challenge! Our doors remain open until we have done so. This could go on for a while!....

Milestone 1: Power lift the angel of the north! Weighing a tasty 208tonnes, the group must collectively lift said amount between the three powerlifting movements.

Milestone 2: Row the Tyne! Using our rowing machines, the group must row a combined total of 118km (the length of the tyne, source to sea).

Milestone 3: Run/Walk Hadrian's wall! The group must collectively run or walk the distance of Hadrian's wall, measuring roughly 115km.

Milestone 4: St James' Park Knockout! one hit of our punchbags for every seat in our mighty stadium, a tasty 52,305 in total.

Milestone 5: Byker Grove Pull-ups! one pull up or chin up for every episode of the famous Byker grove, 344 in total.

Milestone 6: Hadrian's Tower Box Jumps.. times 5! The group must collectively box jump the height of our tallest building, 5 times over, a whopping 410m overall.

Milestone 7: Kettle bell Swing Bridge! One of Newcastle's fine bridges, constructed back in the year 1876, also the number of KB swings the group must collectively do.

The event will kick off at 10am at the gym and will run until full completion, Sleeping bags may be necessary!
