Story

6 girls 26 miles of the English Channel

In June 2019 6 Sisterhood girls will relay swim the English Channel in aid of The Sick Childrens Trust

Hood founder Emma Sayle had a roller coaster start to 2019 with her 4 month old baby being rushed to The Royal London Hospital and intibated for 10 days. The Sick Childrens Trust gave Emma a bed and support. We raised £5k during those 10 days for the charity and with over half the team being mums we felt strongly that this swim should be for this charity

The team of sheros comprises Emma Sayle, Dr Vanessa Moulton, Helen Skelton, Claire Worman, Alexa Ergatoudis and Chesca Lord

We would like to thank SISTR, Y1 Sport, 1Rebel and Brand Explosion for sponsoring us

About the charity

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. By providing families with somewhere to stay near their child they have one less thing to worry about.
