UPDATE - we did it and we can still move today!! And, not only did we do it, but we were the first team to finish the Gold route! A wonderful experience for a fantastic charity, thank you so much to everybody who sponsored us, very much appreciated by us and, of course more importantly, by Sense.

It is difficult to imagine how challenging life must be with little or no sight and hearing. All the things we take for granted like communicating with other people, moving around safely and living independently suddenly become very difficult. However, given the right support, services and information each individual can develop their talents, have their say and choose how they wish to live their lives.

Sense has worked with deafblind people of all ages for over 50 years and offers specialist personalised services across the UK, campaigns for change and has built a world-wide reputation for its pioneering work.

The Sistema team has decided that this is a truly worthwhile cause and one that we want to support. We will take part in the RidgeWalk this summer, a 26 mile trek through the night with only a couple of kilos of Jelly Babies to keep us going in the darkness! Bearing in mind that the furthest some of the team walk is from their desk to the water cooler twice a day, this will be challenging....

Any donation that you feel able to give would be very much appreciated, by us of course, but far more importantly by Sense, allowing them to continue the wonderful work that they do.
