Siobhan & Becci - Blenheim Palace Sponsored Ride for Abingdon RDA

Siobhan Dennis is raising money for Riding For The Disabled Association - Abingdon Group

Blenheim Palace Sponsored Ride for Abingdon Riding for the Disabled · 2 October 2020

From a purpose built centre in Oxon, we specialise in providing riding to private individuals, from all ages and a wide spectrum of disabilities. We provide as many riders as possible with the opportunity to ride to benefit their health and well being, and to support the achievement of their goals.

Story

Siobhan & Becci (two local volunteers) are taking the very special ponies @ Abingdon Riding for the Disabled out for some fun & much-needed exercise to raise funds so that the fantastic stables can continue to provide riding for local disabled children and adults.

With 6 months of lockdown has meant it has been impossible to cover costs to maintain the stables as lessons have been unable to take place as normal - Although it is fantastic that currently, the stables are doing their best to provide lessons where possible.

Abingdon RDA is really able to make a difference with over 13 horses and over 132 riders and over 159 volunteers that all believe in the benefit Abingdon RDA is able to bring to its disabled riders.

Funds are desperately needed and whether you would like to support our riders or ensure the horses are well cared for and in tip-top condition, all help is greatly appreciated.
