Story
The arts across the U.K. are really suffering due to COVID-19. Theatre's are closed, the West End is empty, and artists are losing their jobs and income. It is really crucial for us to support the arts and culture industries and also our local facilities. We can’t purely rely on government funding, unfortunately.
Please join me in raising awareness for the performing arts that is struggling due to the impact of COVID-19, and monies for our local theatre that has blessed us with such incredible art and talent, and given creative opportunities to the many, for almost 40 years. Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP) have started an emergency appeal to ensure they will be able to open their doors to us again with their array of performances; musicals, plays, opera, drama, and dance.
I am organising a ‘sing with me’ virtual performance / video montage of local children with great interests in the arts. This is being made into a video/montage of the children singing, and posted on social media, and included in press releases. The local media are also involved.
Donors will have their names inscribed on a scroll to be put up in TRP in either the Green Room, Stage Door or Foyer. A trip to see the unveiling is also planned for when it is safe. Donors and participants are named temporarily / externally 'FRIENDS OF TRP' through the pandemic, and TRP are so supportive, appreciative, and cannot wait to see the performance.
If you want to support our contribution, then please donate/share. Thank you. ❤️

Please note that I am doing this voluntarily and externally to TRP, and purely from my passion for the arts. TRP has given me the best memories over the years, as I am sure it has for so many of us.
TRP's Emergency Appeal:
"The Coronavirus pandemic means that we have closed our doors to the public for the first time in our 37 years.
We need your help now to keep the theatre going through this tough time when our stages are dark and our workshops empty.
Your donation will help to ensure our financial stability and help us to continue to support the local communities we serve.
A donation, of any size, will be gratefully received and make an enormous difference."
