Story

Four years ago my daughter was involved in a life changing road crash.  Life continues to be a very long, challenging, emotional and sometimes very lonely road back to some sort of recovery for her.  Many people have been there along the way but Brain Injury Matters have been a constant.  It is now Easter 2020 and times are very difficult for many people but charities in particular are struggling.

On Friday, 24/4/2020, my sister Nuala and I will be shaving our heads to raise very much needed funds for Brain Injury Matters.  We hope these funds will go some way towards helping BIM to continue to provide help and support to those who need it most during very difficult times.

Brain Injury Matters is a charity very close to our hearts. It is dedicated to supporting children, young people, adults and families affected by Acquired Brain Injury and helps to rebuild their lives and reach their full potential in the community. Their aim is to promote independence, foster personal development and support people to adapt to life after illness or accident.  BIM's vision is of a society where those with brain injury can live a full and meaningful life.
