Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Scottish Sports Futures is a fantastic charity who help vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and families through sport. They provide lots of oppertunities such as volunteering, training, social education. A place for young people to gain confidence, learn, feel safe and socialise through sport.

I began volunteering with SSF in 2019 as an admin assistant, during this time they taught me a lot of skills and helped me build my confidence. Unfortunately Covid hit and I could no longer go into the office to help out. January 2021 they opened a finace assistant role and now I work from home helping behind the scenes. I get to see how hard they work and how much they have had to adapt their programs during lockdown to ensure they can still provide help for young people and families. I am honoured to take on this challenge, to run my first marathon and have Scottish Sports Futures behind me as motivation. I hope you will help me on this journey (it's going to be a long one!) and donate a small amount to give back to such an amazing charity.

Thank you, from Simone and Scottish Sports Futures :)
