My Father Alan passed away nearly 3 years ago and until recently, due to my poor health, I have been unable to do something that he would be proud and approve of. 

Having worked hard all his life, his retirement years were cut short with the onset of this cruel disease. My Mother watched the man she loved fade away and my Sister and I lost the Father we had loved and looked up to for so many years. My Niece and Nephew never really knew what a fantastic, warm, loving Grandfather he could of been.

I want to do something "Grand", something he would be proud of telling his friends of and something that will help Alzheimer's Society support those affected by this terrible illness.
