Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Sadly this year our true friend Darren Hibbert is not able to take part in the Annual Manchester 10km run due to his sudden death. As many people know Darren was a keen runner and over the years supported The Christie when taking part in the Great North Run and also the Manchester 10km. It is a charity that due to my own health problems Darren was an avid supporter of and he helped raise much needed funds. This year we will be getting a team together of Darren's friends and family to run in honour of our great friend. We will be again running to raise funds for The Christie but more importantly to have a fun day out in memory of our special friend, Darren.

The date the run will take place is Sunday 22nd May which coincides with what would have been Darren's birthday. I'm sure you will all agree this will make the occasion extra special.

Thank you so much for donating and supporting us all. If anybody would like to join the team then please drop me a line and I can pass you the details to register for the run.
