Story
Hello all and thanks for visiting my Just Giving page in support of Action against hunger, a fantastic charity that literally saves lives in some of the poorest countries in the world.
I am attempting to walk the distance between John O Groats (the most northerly point in Scotland) and Lands End (the most Southerly point in England) using as many of the UK's main walking trails as possible; this makes it a distance of over 1000 miles. I also suffer from knee ligament damage so these walks will be a real challenge to me, but a challenge I'm really looking forward to.
If you know me you may remember me walking the 146 miles between Blackpool and Scarborough in May 2009 with a group of friends, and you may recall as I collapsed on the beach in Scarborough that I said 'never again.'
Well where's the fun in that? I like a challenge and this walk is something that's always intrigued me. !
In addition to the walks I'll also be hosting a number of other events in aid of the charity so stay tuned for details. The most important thing in all this is that if you support me on here you are literally making lives better in countries where the need is at its greatest.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, if you decide to donate thank you for that too, I really appreciate your support and can't wait to update you on my adventure!Love and best wishes
Simon Stubbs
