Serving in Mission (SIM) is an international organization who works hand-in-hand with UK evangelical churches to send and receive cross-cultural workers equipped to reach out with the gospel to communities where Christ is least known. SIM works in a way which impacts the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the people we serve, through a huge variety of different ministries. In 2018, we are helping to send 152 workers to more than 70 countries. Our prayer goal is to double that to more than 300 by 2025, so more people can hear the gospel.

In particular, I am seeking to raise funds to help Lawrence & Elizabeth Jah to come to work in Glasgow amongst Asylum Seekers and Refugees. They are Sierra Leoneans but have worked for 25 years in The Gambia and have been appointed as Cross-cultural Mission Workers to Scotland! They have raised over half their support and I am hoping to contribute some more through my Birthday party this year
