Story

Sophie, beloved wife to Simon and mother to Jessica, Betty and Annabel, passed away on 22nd June 2022 at home, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was 38 years old.

Sophie had battled cervical cancer heroically for over two years; during this time she was always incredibly strong, infectiously positive, and utterly selfless in her devotion to her friends and family. Sophie was loved by so many, and all who met her were instantly drawn to her warmth, affection and love of life.

Sophie's sole focus was on the welfare of her family and friends, and so in Sophie's memory we are supporting the Fountain Centre in Surrey. They are a small charity at the Royal Surrey hospital, helping patients and their families who are living with cancer. Their support has been incredible for Sophie and her family, providing practical guidance, various treatments and therapies, and emotional support to their three young children.

The wonderful staff will continue to support Simon and the girls over the difficult months and years ahead, and also support other families facing the terrible uncertainty and fears that come with living with cancer. Please give whatever you can afford, so that they can continue with their incredible work.
