We provide expert baby safety advice to save babies' lives and support families

Story

Firstly, sorry it’s taken us so long to announce this year's charity, even by Simfest standards!

When choosing this year's charity, we felt that it would be appropriate to choose one that was extremely close to our hearts.

In January of this year, the Simfest Team were devastated to hear the news of the passing of little Albie, who had been born into the extended Simfest family only 6 weeks previously.  In the short time he was with us, his personality brought such joy to those who met him and he will be truly missed by so many people.

This year we will be raising money for The Lullaby Trust, a charity which both raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies and offers emotional support for bereaved families.

Not only does their research help to prevent such an unthinkable thing happening to other families, but their ongoing support is invaluable, especially to those who don’t have the support network many of us take for granted.

We thank each and every one of the Simfest community for their support over the past 11 years and can’t wait to see what you all do for this amazing charity in 2019.

In memory of Albie.
