Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My brother, Mark, passed away in September 2019. He was 37 and a much-loved son, father, husband, brother and friend.
Mark faced very hard challenges. He struggled with depression and anxiety and it was so difficult to reach him. It was heartbreaking to watch as he slipped further and further away from his family and friends.
Mark was funny, positive and kind, even in his darkest times. He would have wanted to have raised as much money as possible to help other people.
So here we are, Mark. You may not be with us physically, but you will always be in our hearts. Loving you and losing you has made me a better person. I promised you, I would live my best life but I also promised you, I would do good and kind things in your name.
There are many worthwhile causes but we have chosen to support CAIS, a local North Wales charity and CALM, Campaign Against Living Miserably. The vast majority of us have fathers, sons, brothers, husband and boyfriends. Suicide is the single biggest killer of men under 45. There are also far too many men battling with depression, anxiety, addictions. We owe it to them to fight for their cause.
Mark, we will always love you and we will always be so proud of you.
