We raise funds to improve the lives of those with dementia

Story

The Forget Me Not Club (FMNC) in Banchory is a charity I have supported for many years since my amazing, awesome and crazy Aunt Heather Morrison set it up over 20 years ago.  COVID -19 has been hard on dementia families, but FMNC adapted and did what they could to help and are now slowly getting back to a new normal.  COVID-19 has also had an effect on fundraising which FMNC relies on and this is why I’m off to scare myself in Wales to raise some money for this wonderful charity.

Velocity 2 is the Worlds fastest, and Europe’s longest zip wire getting to speeds of 100mph and is 1.5km long which goes over Penrhyn Quarry, in Wales, with views of  Snowdonia.

Have a look at this to see exactly what I’ll be up to:

BUT, I’m not doing this on my own, Heather and her Rotary friend Christina are doing it too! In fact it was all Heather’s idea, and if you know her you’ll understand that she’ll do anything to raise money!  Heather & Christina are fund raising through Rotary for Peru, to assist in treating COVID-19 patients, another worthwhile charity - here are the links to their pages:

I’d be grateful if you can please donate even a small amount, to either cause,  thank you for your support!! ❤️

This is what FMNC say they need funds for:
