Story
For my Bat Mitzvah I wanted to do something special for other people. I love baking and and during the first lock down I made lots of cakes and biscuits and gave them to my neighbours to enjoy.
My sister raised money for her bat mitzvah so someone less fortunate than her could have a bat mitzvah and it was very special and I felt that this was very important.
I had a plan that I could put the two ideas together and I could get sponsors for baking cakes and challah and then donate them to local charities. With the help of Chabad Whitefield I am going to bake cakes and challah every month and I am very excited. The first charity I am donating my treats to is GIFT.
The money I raise from baking treats will go towards giving a child at Jewish Child's Day the opportunity to have a Bat Mitzvah, that ordinarily they could only have dreamt of.
