I don’t tend to do anything like this but I know that charities are really feeling the effects of COVID. Headway is a charity that my work does a lot for and I thought I’d do my bit.

I have had the same haircut and colour for over ten years, and in my lockdown madness I’ve agreed to let my wife bleach, and subsequently dye my hair bright orange. If a little bit of good could come out of a little bit of silliness, that’s all I’m asking for! And the better the donations, the longer I’ll leave it like a beacon making all your lives a bit shinier... it’s better than looking like Ron Burgundy without his moustache for the rest of lockdown.

This will be happening over the bank holiday weekend in a couple of stages. First will come the bleach, I’ll share pictures and hopefully won’t look like I’m doing my best impression of Eminem. Next will come the hair dye so wonderfully named “psychedelic sunset”
