We fund research and raise awareness to shine a light on Lewy body dementia

Story

John suffered with Lewy Body Disease, which was triggered by stress since about 2010.  Many people have not heard of this disease, which  has some similar traits to Alzheimers but also Parkinsons and frequently individuals are tormented by confusion, hallucinations, delusions and paranoia. 'Lewy' slowly and progressively robbed John of his independence, confidence, problem solving ability,  speech, mobility and finally his swallowing capacity.  To all those who knew him, he was a fun loving, hard working, kind and witty person who loved his family and friends and he certainly did not deserve  this cruel disease.  Hopefully, a cure will be found for Lewy Body Dementia so that no-one ever has to fear its onset.
