Shepherd House is a 15 bedded Mental health Recovery unit in Worthing.

During this international pandemic, uncertainties and times of change -we wanted to come together and set ourselves a challenge.

Service Users and staff at Shepherd House have decided that they are going to collectively walk/run the distance of Lands End to John O'Groats (864miles) during this time of Lockdown.

We are hoping that this challenge is going to raise money for the amazing charity 'Heads On'

Heads On is Sussex Partnerships charity that raises funds so that we can improve the lives of those living with mental health issues, especially at this time of Covid-19.

We are hoping that money raised will go towards activities to keep people entertained at this time (such as outdoor games and art materials) and may even go towards DJ workshops for the Trust when we are physically able to do so.

We are blessed to be located on the seafront and will clock up the miles with our daily walks/runs. As well as using the treadmill here to increase our distance - day and night!

We know that money is tight at this time - but would like to thank you for giving anything that you can. This will inspire us to keep going and stay active.
