GOODNESS GRACIOUS ME…Do join the party and meet Chunky La Funga

Party for Pakistan...message from Shekhar Bhatia (being serious for a change).

Hello all.

We have to do something!!!!

Pakistani Floods. We’ve all read about it and thought how terrible.  But Pakistan only has a quarter of the money it needs to help 20 million people.

Pakistan has not had the international reaction it desperately needs.

Well, now is our chance to help with whatever we can, no matter how small…Maybe we can raise a few grand or more. It will all help save lives from threatened diseases as a result of the flooding.

There are children suffering as well as adults, and the threat of disease is rife. Just £4 helps buy a  clean water kit for one person.

I am organising a bash on Saturday  September 4th and all door and raffle money will go to the official Disaster Emergency Committee flood appeal for Pakistan.

There will be a DJ playing some great music with a huge dance floor and – hopefully – lots of people you know as well, maybe, one or two famous faces. And some fab prizes.  We’ll have a good time and everybody is welcome. It starts at 7.30pm until 1am.

For those who don’t drink alcohol, I’ll buy  some crates of huge bottles of diet and fat coke and place them behind the bar free. There will also be food available.

Please, I am fairly nervous nobody will show up or donate…it’s only a tenner.

Dave Bance, owner of the Cuban Bar in the City, has donated his premises and staff and DJ for the night. Kulvinder is going to be the fun guy (or fall guy!).

You can buy your ticket for £10 here and be signed in through the door as a print out of the page/pages will be with the security people.

If you can’t come and would still like to denote – be my guest.

Or you can pay on the door. But this is the best method as we can gauge numbers.

I’m regularly– probably correctly -  accused of not being able to organise the proverbial p—s up in a brewery.  Lets prove it can be done and help me make this party night successful and help those tragically affected in Pakistan.

Do forward this email and link to all your Facebook/Twitter/Lindekin friends and all  other friends and ask them to do the same. If you can put the important details on your home pages, even better.

It’s a fortnight before the date and anybody who can help in anyway, will be truly welcomed.

Thank you .

Shekhar Bhatia.
