In 2012 my daughter Katie was born with Hydrocephalus and required emergency surgery to prevent her from suffering severe brain damage. As she was born 10 weeks premeturley this was a very worrying time for both Sarah and myself, but thanks to the the support of our family and others we got through it. The staff at both East Surrey and St Goerge's hospitals were first class and along with the help, support and advice we received from Shine I am pleased to say that Katie is a very happy baby (most of the time!)

Although Katie's condition is ongoing we were very lucky, many children suffer much more servere cases and need as much help and support as they can get. Shine do superb work supporting these children and their families and I hope that you can join us in supporting them.
