We aim to bring better end of life care to - EVERYWHERE
Story
Hi Everyone! I'm currently fundraising for The Irish Hospice Foundation to mark the 21st Anniversary of my wonderful Dad Shay Connor. Shay passed away on the 30th Aug 2001 after a very brave two year battle with Cancer. We all miss him dearly and its really hard to believe that its been 21 years... Any donation no matter how small will help the Irish Hospice Foundation continue the amazing work they do. I have also organised a Charity concert on the 30th of August in the Sugar Club Dublin. Shay was a massive music fan & I'm delighted to have so many amazing musicians perform on the night. All are welcome and 100% of proceeds from ticket sales will go to The Irish Hospice Foundation. The last concert we did for Shay back in 2019 was really well attended and it was so great to feel the love in the room for him
The line up for the night consists of Tunes From a Misspent Youth (Myself, John Mcloughlin, Nicky Scott & Gerry Culloty) with a 3 piece brass section led by Alison Reynolds. We will also be joined by Special Guests: Tom Dunne (Something Happens/Newstalk), Fiachna O Braonain (Hothouse Flowers/RTE radio 1), Frances Black & Brian Kennedys “The Junkyard Dogs". The legendary Declan O'Brien will be Master of Ceremonies for the evening!
Irish Hospice Foundation is a national charity that addresses dying, death and bereavement in Ireland. Our vision is an Ireland where people facing end of life or bereavement, and those who care for them, are provided with the care and support that they need.
