Sharon was a beautiful person inside and out and an amazing daughter, sister, wife and mum. In memory of Sharon, her family are raising awareness for The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust. Sharon had a rare genetic heart condition called Loeys Dietz Syndrome which affects the connective tissue in the body and is characterised by the enlargement of the aorta and dissections in the arteries. 

Donations made to the charity will aid the detection and consistency in diagnosing individuals, prevention and treatment of aortic dissection. It will also aid with genetic testing for relatives and help educate medical professionals.
