This page has been set up to remember Sharon Ward, loving wife, mother, and grandmother - who passed peacefully in her sleep on the 12th October 2020. 

She had valiantly fought Leukaemia for over four years and during her diagnoses, treatment and eventual passing she received outstanding care from both the My Wish Charity team and Macmillan Cancer Unit at West Suffolk Hospital. On behalf of all our family, we want to say a big thank you for the support and care that Sharon received.

Sharon will always be remembered for her love of music and dancing; she lit up a room with her laughter and stories. She adored her two grandchildren and spoiling her dogs, loved travel and above all, her family, Larry, Ben and Danielle. She leaves a gaping hole in our lives and will be missed every single day and will never be forgotten.

While Sharon adored flowers, she has asked that instead of flowers being sent to her family, she would like her family and friends to make a donation to the My Wish Charity - so that other cancer patients can continue to receive the outstanding levels of care that she did.
