Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
At the age of 62 Mitchell Sadly lost his life to The devastating and awful Covid-19.
After bravely battling Lymphoma for 6 months in Hospital.
He then fought so hard to beat the horrific coronavirus even after two rounds of gruelling chemotherapy, we are so incredibly proud of him.
847 is the number of people who died from Coronavirus on 17th April 2020 and sadly Mitchell was one of them
He loved life, loved his holidays and loved BBQ's!
He was a devoted husband, wonderful dad, father in law and most importantly the best grandad ever and he will be missed terribly by everyone who knew him.
I could not be prouder of my Mitchell he was the love of my life.
We would like to raise money for the Samaritian Ward at Guys Hospital where Mitchell spent his last 6 months .
The care and love he received from every member of staff was incredible . We would like to improve the visitors room which is in need of a “makeover". The relatives room is an important place for anyone who has a relative in the ward.
The other half of the money we would like to donate to Prof Paul Fields for his research into Lymphoma to help find a cure.
Prof Paul was Mitchell’s doctor throughout his time at Guys and he gave Mitchell the greatest care possible.
Many of our friends and family have asked me to set up a just giving page. I thought as it is Mitchell’s 63rd birthday today what better tribute .
Thank you for all your love and support over the past year
Sharon ❤️
