In 2022, a couple of days before Quinns 6th birthday, Quinn started to complain of leg pain and within a matter of 24hrs he was limping.  After calling the doctors and getting rushed straight A&E within a matter of hours we were being told the news, people really don't want to hear......

After having an emergency MRI scan within days, we found out, it wasn't what we initially got told but a rare lifelong bone condition, it was at this point Quinn was diagnosed with Fibrodysplasia, in both his legs, along with Mc cunes Albright syndrome, a condition connected with FD.

This condition is extremely rare and is usually found between the ages of 6-14 and is a lifelong condition.

In November 2022, Quinn was fast tracked for his 1st major operation on his right femur/hip to put pins, plates and a rod in to stop the leg bending anymore than it already was.  They tried to delay this operation but the leg had bent 10 degrees since he was last seen. He recovered and continued having regular physio and meds, until he broke his leg again, Nov 2025 in school.

This time, he had managed to damage the metal in hi right femur do much that they had to operate and do a full replacement of the metal and replaced with adult metal, hoping to be able for this to last for the rest of his life.

I am now desperate to spend my time raising awareness about this condition and raising money for this charity. Please please help me on my mission in anyway you can.
