Members of the Action Radiotherapy Champions Network along with colleagues from the world of radiotherapy are raising money to support Action Radiotherapy; the UK’s only charity dedicated to improving access to radiotherapy treatment for all cancer patients. They will be undertaking a number of challenges including the Great North Run Solo, where they will be attempting 40 runs in 78 days to celebrate the 40th birthday of the Great North Run. Amongst that will be other challenges including 5k and 10k virtual races. The Vision RT contingent will complete a virtual event this summer, since the London 10K has been cancelled (COVID-19!!). Members from London, Basingstoke, the US and Poland offices will be taking part, so we have a full international crew. The team will be running through the pain to support Action Radiotherapy, who like a lot of charities are facing a huge funding crisis at the moment, so please get behind us to help!
