Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I did the run on 01 04 12 It was a beautiful Sunday by the Thames.

We passed by Hampton court, it was so beautiful, the river, trees, flowers everywhere. I ran it with Patrick Tatham who was a great friend and waited for my slower pace several times during the race. We did it over all in three hours, and I am pleased with the time. I had my mother's photo on my back and felt she is running with me, seeing the beautiful flowers too. Thank you for all who donated and supported me.

I am running for Neve Amiel Youth Village in Israel -beacuse disadvantaged teenagers deserve a chance today to build a better future for tomorrow. Funds will be donated to Neve Amiel through Jewish Child's Day Charity

Neve Amiel  provides a warm, loving home to Israel's most traumatized at risk youth. Aged 14-18, boys and girls, our youngsters are characterized by the trauma of abandment, displacement and social marginalization. Our kids arrive at Neve Amiel after being rejected from every other educational instituion and we are sadly considered "the last stop".
Our goal is to provide them with the therapy they need to overcome the traumas of their past whilst providing them with the tools to build a better tomorrow through access to high school matriculation, vocational training, therapeutic programming and preparation for the IDF.
