Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to click on my JustGiving page. In 2017 I was given the opportunity to work as a volunteer in Tanzania with Friends of Africa. Now in 2020 I'm proud to be returning to continue that work in the parishes of Ngudu and Mwanza as a Group Leader.

During the four weeks, we will be running a camp for children from the local parishes during their Summer break from school. The volunteers have endeavoured to earn an OCN Level 2 certification in youth work ahead of this summer. This will stand us in good stead as we work to both improve their spoken English skills and empower them to take on the challenges they are likely to face in life. 

My aim is to raise £2000 to aid the funding of the projects. This money does not go toward flights or my personal costs - it goes directly into funding Friends of Africa's projects across the continent in order to have the most impact at a local level.
