‘For children living in care, Christmas can be a difficult time. This year, a quarter of Harmeny’s children will be experiencing their first Christmas in residential care and the Scottish Futures Trust and the Harmeny team is determined to give them, and all the other children, a magical Christmas.’

A place to live, a space to thrive. We support children aged 5-18 who have experienced early years trauma at our residential school in Balerno, near Edinburgh. Our goal is for all our children to have the love, encouragement and nourishment they need, to grow and reach their potential.
