Publicly accessible defibrillators in strategic locations across Braintree

Story

A message from the Braintree fund

When Scott Gilhooly, landlord of The Swiss Bell Public House on Marlborough Road, Braintree, was tragically taken from us on 17th May 2020, the community lost a real people’s champion.

One of his last wishes was to fundraise for a defibrillator to be provided in his local community.

The Braintree Fund has already successfully raised enough money to provide four publicly accessible defibrillators in the town, now our aim is to deliver the same at a location near to the Swiss Bell pub, dedicated to the memory of Scott Gilhooly.”
